I find a lot people have a negative connotation with commercial fishing, but we do so much to take care of our oceans and to protect every species of fish. My crew and I preach sustainability. It’s great to come back to our harvest areas every year and see how we’ve positively impacted the area.

There is so much that I love about commercial fishing: The excitement, everyday is different, my crew, the fresh air, the physical activity. I feel immersed in nature everyday. We have something special here. It’s refreshing to work and be connected with people who comprehend and respect the labor-intensive process we go through to get them an outstanding product.
